Entry to a Neighbourhood Anchor

I was pretty excited to return to my library this week. For now only a few sections would be open, so I wasn’t sure what to expect. After going through these main doors, I saw a line waiting for access to computers but I walked right in to the main floor. People were spread out and all seemed pleased to be back. This place is an anchor for so many.

There was a biography I want to read but it was on a floor that isn’t open yet. The person at the information desk said they could retrieve it for me if I can wait 10 -15 minutes. There are changes like this and hand sanitizer at the entry and checkout but so great to be here and have access to all of the resources here. In spite of physical distancing there is such a sense of community here.
