A member of the Harbour Air crew was perched on the wing of the plane clearing the snow off with a broom. As I watched him prepare the plane for flight I thought of the people I have met in North Carolina over recent months. We have all just completed a series of conversations focused on building connections during the pandemic.

Over the six months I was struck by the many diverse gifts of each person in the group. We shared stories, ideas and how difficult it can be during a pandemic. But we got on the wings and cleared the snow and made space for this conversation. Challenges existed but so did possibilities and support. I was so inspired by the stories of everyone.
